Pacific’s women’s swimming and diving program has a new head coach.
On Friday, the Tigers announced Katelyne Herrington has been hired as the new head coach of the swimming and diving team. Herrington is a Stockton native and served as the Tigers’ assistant coach from 2016-2018.
In a press release, Pacific Athletic Director Janet Lucas offered a welcome to the new coach.
“Katelyne is a talented professional with a successful history of supporting the growth and development of student-athletes,” Lucas said. “She brings a strong vision for the men’s and women’s swim teams, the ability to establish a competitive atmosphere, and a focus on establishing a habit of excellence in academics, in swimming, and in life.
