The Delta College wrestling team had four wrestlers place in the top six of their respective divisions Saturday at the CCCAA Northern California championships at Sierra College, and all will be headed to next week’s state tournament at Cerritos College.
Greg Viloria led the way for the Mustangs, going undefeated at 4-0 and taking first place at 125 pounds.
At 141 pounds, Branden Rullen was fifth with a 3-2 record, and teammate Trenton Edalgo was 3-3 for sixth place. Aaron Robinson will also go to state, placing sixth at 165s with a 3-3 record.
Steven Wantan was 3-3 for seventh place at 149 pounds, and will be an alternate.
