The Delta College volleyball team began Big 8 Conference play on Wednesday with a three-set sweep of visiting Modesto Junior College.
Angelique Stepanoff had 12 kills and eight digs for the Mustangs (11-4, 1-0 Big 8), who won by scores of 25-16, 25-10, 28-26.
Isabella Fellman had 10 kills for Delta, and Kacy Bolding had 37 assists, six digs and two blocks.
The Mustangs next play on the road Friday at Sacramento City.
