The Delta College women’s volleyball team won its fifth straight match Wednesday night, sweeping Cosumnes River at home.
Scores were 25-21, 25-20, 25-15.
Angelique Stepanoff led the Mustangs with 15 kills, six digs, a block and an ace. Jessica Smith had seven kills and two blocks, and Kacy Bolding had 39 assists, two blocks and two digs for Delta (13-4, 5-0 Big 8 Conference).
The Mustangs also have the reigning state player of the week in sophomore Angel Lambert, a Lincoln High product.
Delta will play at American River at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

At Sacramento, Max Beutel had two goals and teammates Luke Martin, Benton Peterson, Logan Apley and Jacob Thomas scored a goal each in a loss for Delta (10-7, 0-3 Big 8 Conference).
