Delta College’s men’s basketball team made a big comeback and kept rolling through the Big 8 Conference.
After trailing by as many as 17 points, the Mustangs rallied and edged Folsom Lake 76-75 on Tuesday night in Folsom. Delta has won four in a row, and improved to 12-5, 4-1 in the Big 8.
Folsom Lake (6-10, 1-3) missed a shot at the buzzer which could have changed the outcome.
Spencer Monteiro had 26 points to lead Delta, and Cameron Pieters had 16. The Mustangs start a four-game homestand at 5:30 p.m. Friday against American River.
