STOCKTON, Calif. - James Graham became the all-time coaching wins leader in Pacific men's water polo history Sunday as the Tigers opened the 2017 season with four straight wins, giving Graham 149 at Pacific.
The milestone, previously held by John Tanner in his 12 seasons leading the Tigers, gave Graham an opportunity to look back over his time at Pacific and how the program has evolved to its current state in his 10th season at the helm.
"I am very proud of this accomplishment but to be honest this is not about me," Graham said. "This accomplishment is because of all the student-athletes, staff members, fans, alums, administrators and staffers, past and present over the last ten years.
