The West Coast Conference released its 2019 Preseason All-Conference Team today selecting Pacific baseball's junior catcher James Free II to the team. Pacific was picked 10th in the preseason poll, which is voted on by the coaches of the league.
Free is coming off of a season in which he garnered WCC Honorable Mention honors when he hit .283 with a team-leading seven home runs and 28 RBIs, which tied him for the team lead. Free had three RBIs in a game twice last year, the first time against Sacramento State on April 10 when he went 4-5 from the plate with a double and a dinger.
