Andre Lindsey’s journey through football has taken him from Stagg High to Delta College, and then north to Sacramento State.
The next step in Lindsey’s path, as he learned this weekend, is Kansas City.
Lindsey, a former Stagg and Delta wide receiver, was signed as an undrafted free agent following Saturday’s NFL Draft. The 6-foot-3 wideout leaves at the end of this week for rookie minicamp with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The road to this weekend’s fateful phone call has been a long one for Lindsey, especially as of late. After graduating from Stagg in 2013, a year in which he racked up 1,031 receiving yards, Lindsey spent a season at Delta College, recording 358 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
