SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The University of the Pacific baseball team had five players land All-Academic honors, which are led by Cooper Casad and Matthew Tarantino. Nate Verlin, Michael Ricupito, and Bradley Jekich earned All-Academic Honorable Mention.
Casad owned a cumulative GPA of a 3.94 and majored in Sports Management. He ended his season and career with a 3.93 ERA with a 3-6 record. The senior registered three saves to finish in a 10-way tie in the conference for 10th. Casad made 18 appearances on the mound, making 10 starts.
