SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Sophomore outside hitter Emily Baptista was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week for Nov. 14-21.

Baptista was key in the Tigers final three matches, leading Pacific in sweeps over Gonzaga, Portland, and San Francisco. The wins helped Pacific claim sole possession of third place in the final WCC standings, the program's best finish since 2014.

In three matches, Baptista hit .303 (43-13-99) and totaled six blocks for a combined 49.5 points. Her averages included 5.5 points, 4.78 kills, 2.78 digs, 0.67 blocks per set.

The Hilmar product finished conference play with a fouth-best 4.
