Stockton, Calif. - Despite winning the opening two matches of the day against Saint Mary's, the Tigers' sand volleyball team could not hold on for the overall victory as the Gaels rallied over the final three matches to steal away the 3-2 win on Tuesday afternoon at Raney Courts. The loss dropped Pacific to 3-5 on the year while the Gaels improved to 6-2 having improved to 2-0 over the Tigers on the year.
Out of the gate, the Tigers took control of the afternoon's match with two-set victories at both No. 4 and No. 5.
