Stockton, Calif. - Pacific women's tennis freshman Viktoriya Dzyuba moved into this week's Oracle/ITA National Singles Rankings, debuting at No. 94.
Pacific will face San Jose State this Sunday on the road at noon.
The Tigers are 4-4 on the year, with Dzyuba leading the way with a 7-1 record in singles, all that the number one singles spot. She's also 3-1 in doubles contests this season; 2-1 when teamed with junior Cristina Saenz de Buruaga Ruiz and 1-0 partnering with freshman Mayaan Sela.
Pacific is coming off a 4-0 sweep of Cal Poly on the road, in which Dzyuba and Sela each posted singles wins, as did fellow freshman Katie Dyson.
