The Pacific Tigers carried their momentum from a big win into the first half of Wednesday’s contest.
Unfortunately for them, the Tigers couldn’t keep it going for the entire game.
After trailing by 19 points in the first half, USF rallied and won 89-76 at War Memorial Gymnasium in San Francisco. Pacific dropped to 2-9, 1-1 in the West Coast Conference, and the Dons improved to 7-5, 1-1.
The Tigers won their WCC opener 73-72 in overtime Monday against Santa Clara at Spanos Center, and they looked like they were going to make it two in a row early against USF.
