For the Delta College women’s basketball team, the top-ranked community college squad in the state, it was just another night on the court.
The Mustangs defeated College of the Redwoods 78-46 on Saturday at Blanchard Gym to win their third Northern California title. It was Delta’s 22nd consecutive win heading into next week’s state tournament at West Hills College in Lemoore.
"I’m super excited for this team," said head coach Gina Johnson. "They’ve been coming back all year.
