STOCKTON – Delta sophomore Morgan Hall had a normal busy day at school and needed to catch a nap before the Mustangs Big 8 Conference matchup against American River College.
The strong-legged defender, who hadn’t scored a goal all season, dreamed she was going to shoot and make a goal for her team and, just a few short hours later, the dream became a reality.
Hall’s 30-yard rocket early in the second half proved to be the match winner in a wild 4-3 Mustangs win as they held off the scrappy Beavers Tuesday evening at Delta College.
