The fate of the Delta College baseball team’s season will have to wait another day.
The Mustangs’ game against Sacramento City in the loser’s bracket of the California Community College Athletic Association Championships was postponed Sunday as a result of inclement weather.
The game will instead be played 10 a.m. Monday. If the Mustangs win, they’ll play the loser of Orange Coast-El Camino at 6 p.m.
Delta lost 5-3 to El Camino to begin the championship tournament on Saturday.
The Mustangs do have a history with Monday’s opponent, having swept Sacramento City in a three-game series in late March.
