STOCKTON — One of the nation’s most efficient offenses came to Spanos Center Thursday night and, after a slow start, eventually overpowered Pacific.

BYU rode a 21-0 second-half run to a 74-60 West Coast Conference men's basketball win over the Tigers behind a game-high 28 points from guard Jake Toolson.

Toolson buried a pair of 3-pointers to extend the Cougars’ lead to 69-53 late in the second half as the sizable BYU road contingent erupted. Yoeli Childs followed with a two-handed jam on a fastbreak to bury Pacific (15-7, 3-3 WCC).
