STOCKTON, Calif. - Pacific baseball head coach Ryan Garko announced the hiring of Bob Macaluso as the fourth member of his coaching staff Monday morning. Macaluso will serve as the volunteer assistant coach working primarily with hitters and position players.
"Coach Macaluso brings invaluable experience to our staff. He has been a head coach at the highest collegiate level, been an integral part of numerous winning programs, and coached with some legends of college baseball," said Garko. "He will be involved in every part of our decision making process as we begin a new era at Pacific and we are fortunate that he chose to be a part of this program"
Macaluso served as assistant coach for the Bakersfield Roadrunners in 2015 as CSUB won the WAC Tournament and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time.
