    STOCKTON — A brutal regular season prepared the Delta College women’s basketball team to fight for its life in the playoffs.
    Delta, which finished fifth in the rigorous Big 8 Conference with an 8-6 mark, rallied from 11 points down with 6 minutes to go in its California Community College Athletic Association NorCal quarterfinal against seventh-seeded Foothill for a 71-65 win on Feb. 26 in Los Altos. The No. 10 Mustangs (22-9) came through behind Tiara Tucker’s 25 points and four 3-pointers, and Brittany Butler’s 19 points and four 3s.
