Scottsdale, Ariz. - After 36 holes at the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate the Tigers' golf team found itself in ninth place overall having posted a team score of +17 on the opening day of action. The Tigers were led by their junior for the second-straight weekend as Geoff Fry put himself inside the tournament's top-20 having shot even-par for the first two rounds of play.
For Fry, the day started with a two-under, 70, which placed the junior into a tie for sixth after the first 18 holes of action. He would fall slightly behind the pack during the second go around the course in Scottsdale when he shot a +2, 74 to finish the day at even par overall.
