Stockton, Calif. - The No. 10 Pacific women's water polo team opens the 2016 season Saturday at the LouStrong Invitational at San Jose State. The Tigers will open with No. 1 Stanford (9:20 a.m.) and No. 3 California (6:40 p.m.) Saturday
On Sunday, Pacific meets No. 9 UC Davis (noon) and Sonoma State (4:00 p.m.). All matches will be played at SJSU Aquatics complex.
The Tigers are 10th in the preseason CWPA top 20 poll, with 45 points, one shy of No. 9 UC Davis. Pacific was 16th in last season's final poll.
