From the Associated Press, it appears that one of the possibilities to salvage some sort of football for the 2020 season, is to play an all-conference schedule in which all 12 teams will play everyone. That would be an 11-game schedule and feature popular one-off matchups that we would typically have to wait around to see.
It would minimize travel and also maximize any sort of potential cash earned for each university if there was a shortened season or delayed season.
I’m in favor of ANY FOOTBALL in 2020 — so whatever way they have to get it done, I’d be fine with it.
