EUGENE, Ore. -- In order to prepare for its matchup with ACC team Virginia, Oregon has had to turn to an interesting source ... a team from Provo, Utah.
With just one game under Bronco Mendenhall's belt with the Cavaliers, Oregon's staff has found itself relying heavily on film from BYU to break down Mendenhall's tendencies and preferences in order to fully prepare for this Saturday's meeting.
"That whole staff brought in their system," Ducks offensive coordinator Matt Lubick said. "And so to actually prepare for this game we had to watch the BYU defense."
One of the most important parts of that film has been watching the blitzes in order to prepare for how the Cavaliers might slow the Ducks.
