Washington State Cougars head coach Nick Rolovich is making a positive change for all, while it represents a negative change for him.
He’s taken a pay cut, as well as Athletic Director Pat Chun, basketball coach Kyle Smith and university president Kirk Schulz have taken a five percent pay cut, voluntarily, to help ease the lost money due to the closures of the spring sport seasons this year. The coronavirus pandemic forced the cancellations of the winter sport postseasons as well as the entire spring sport seasons, subsequently costing every Pac-12 school millions in the process.
