Oregon State coach Gary Andersen knows that in the last two years he has checked off a few boxes on his to-do list for the Beaver program.
The progress on the program’s facilities have come along. He has his coaching and support staff numbers at a place that’s competitive within the Pac-12. And two weeks ago Oregon State picked up its first Pac-12 win under Andersen, a 47-44 thriller over Cal. A week later the Beavers played then-No. 21 Utah tight in tough conditions with a slew of back-ups. Arguably, it’s been the two strongest weeks on the field for the Oregon State program under Andersen.
