If Mika Zibanejad was an old fisherman, he might still be talking about the big one that got away from him Saturday.
But as a young Senators centreman, he has filed and (almost) forgotten the opportunity he had with a wide open net, only to fire the puck off the end boards, in overtime against the Rangers.
"I got to redeem myself in practice (Sunday)," Zibanejad said wryly after Monday's morning skate. "Of course it's a situation you want to get back in and retry. I should have scored, that's a chance you want to execute. But I can't hang too much on that.
