Defensemen Jacob Bernard-Docker and Travis Hamonic each spent part of their hockey career with the Ottawa Senators. Bernard-Docker was a former first-round draft pick in 2018 while Hamonic was acquired by the Senators in a trade during the 2021-22 season.
Bernard-Docker had to fight to get NHL playing time. Bernard-Docker played in 25 games in the 2024-25 season with the Senators before suffering an injury. This past March, Bernard-Docker was traded by the Senators to the Buffalo Sabres in part of the Dylan Cozens-Josh Norris trade.
For Hamonic, he went unsigned after a struggling 2024-25 season with the Senators.
