For the uninitiated, this Spartan Sprint is a very gruelling 5 km race up and down the big Gatineau hills featuring obstacles such as mud, fire, high walls and barbed wire. It was a "fun" break from the on-ice activities at the team's development camp, designed to test fitness and endurance.
It didn't look like a lot of fun, especially on this hot day.
