The end is finally here. This dreadful season has finally ended, and it wasn’t pretty. While most fans had already zoned out at this point, it still seems odd to say goodbye to the team until next October. For fan appreciation night, it would have been nice to close out the season with a decent game but as with the entire season, the Sens delivered a disappointing result.
The Blue Jackets quickly took a leap over the Sens when Pierre-Luc Dubois opened the scoring with less than 4 minutes in to make it 1-0. The rest of the period ended being filled with lazy plays and disastrous turnovers.
