Senators tie game in third period, lose in dying seconds in OT to Bruins

Saturday saw the Ottawa Senators suffer a brutal 4-3 loss to the Montreal Canadiens. After a couple of days off, it was back to work against the Boston Bruins.

On Oct. 27, the Senators won the first meeting 7-2 against the Bruins. The second meeting wouldn't have nine combined goals, but saw a thrilling ending that didn't go the Senators' way.

The Bruins defeated the Senators 3-2 in overtime at TD Garden. With the loss, the Senators fell to 6-5-3 overall on the season.

In the first period, the Senators led 1-0 after 20 minutes thanks to a Michael Amadio goal, but it was a period that wasn't very productive.
