Marc Methot was as surprised as anybody he couldn't play Saturday.

That's why he's not committing to make his return Wednesday, either.

The Senators' defenceman thought he was completely recovered from a concussion after Saturday's morning skate but when he got up from his afternoon nap he didn't feel right and that's why he didn't play in the club's 4-1 loss to the Arizona Coyotes at home.

"It's the nature of the injury. It's kind of unpredictable," Methot said. "I woke up in the afternoon not feeling very good and we didn't want to take any chances seeing that it's my head.
