MONTREAL - Bryan Murray was in the mood to chat Friday.
Of course, that's usually the case.
And, at the moment, he's satisfied with where the Senators stand.
Speaking in a wide-ranging interview in Tampa with the traveling media before the club's three-hour flight here in the afternoon, the Senators GM likes the fact the club is in the mix for a playoff spot under coach Dave Cameron. Adding he feels they're making steps in the right direction for the playoffs.
During the session, he told reporters the club hopes to have Milan Michalek back soon from a broken finger, Clarke MacArthur continues to struggle in his return from a concussion and the club isn't optimistic Chris Phillips will play again.
