Ottawa Senators goaltender Mike Condon has nothing but good things to say about the Pittsburgh Penguins organization.
“No real extra motivation,” said Condon, who will get the start Thursday night against Sidney Crosby and company.
After being claimed by Pittsburgh off waivers from Montreal during training camp, Condon was traded to the Senators in October.
“Without them, I would be in St. John’s, Newfoundland, so if anything I should be thanking them. They traded me here, gave me a great opportunity here. Without them, I don’t know where I would be.
“The only motivation you need is to look at their roster and their position in the standings.
