Cody Ceci was a little concerned that he had no goals, no assists and a share of the worst plus-minus on the Senators roster heading into Thursday's game against the Devils.
But more indicative of his play was another number -- minutes played -- and in that category he was among the team leaders.
In fact, in the Senators first six games, Ceci worked 121:26, second only to Erik Karlsson's 156:28. His average ice time of 20:32 had him third among all Senators, behind Karlsson and the injured Marc Methot.
"I haven't really started the way I've wanted, stats wise, but other than that I think I've been playing pretty solid," Ceci said in the hours leading up to Game 7 of the season.
