The Ottawa Senators have been busy today, after dropping the first two games of the season in less than stellar fashion.
The biggest news was broken by Bruce Garrioch. He announced that the team has acquired Vladislav Namestnikov from the New York Rangers, with $750K retained, in exchange for Nick Ebert, and a 2021 fourth round draft pick.

Namestnikov was drafted 27th overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2011, hitting a career-high 45 points in 2016.
