Patrick Sieloff Signs Two-Year Extension

The Ottawa Senators have kicked off their off-season today, signing pending RFA Patrick Sieloff to a two-year, two-way contract extension. Sieloff, a 24-year-old defenceman, has been playing for the Sens’ AHL affiliate for the last two seasons since being acquired in 2016 from the Calgary Flames in exchange for Alex Chiasson.

Known for his gritty play, Sieloff has become somewhat of a household name amongst Sens fans for his infamous hit on Clarke MacArthur during the 2016 training camp, setting MacArthur back almost an entire season in his concussion recovery.
