Since returning from Sweden the Ottawa Senators have struggled to get their feet under them. They have lost all three games since returning, including a shutout loss to the Rangers last night.
First Period
The first period was the best for the Sens. They kept the game even and Anderson came up with some big saves. The chances were there but a failure to score on two powerplays kept the score at 0-0.
Second Period
The second period saw the New York Rangers open the scoring five minutes in. Down a goal the Sens killed a penalty but were unable to get their feet under them and the score remained at 1-0 for the remainder of the period.
