With the news that Brassard is able to fully participate in practice it means that he could be ready for the start of the season. If not it looks like at the very least he won’t miss many games. This is fantastic news for a Ottawa Senators team that is also going to miss Erik Karlsson and Clarke MacArthur at the start of the season. Additionally, they will be without rookie Colin White who was injured in a preseason game the other night.

When Brassard comes back he will return as the centre of the second line for the Ottawa Senators.
