Chris Neil has trimmed down for the final season of his contract with the Senators.
Previously listed as having 215 pounds on his 6-foot-1 frame, the veteran winger was down to 204 pounds at one point this summer. Now, he says, he's "probably 208 consistently."
"I feel good," said Neil, a 36-year old who is one of only two Senators (along with Chris Phillips) eligible to become an unrestricted free agent in July. "It's just the way I've been training and stuff. I'm just trying to get ready for camp.
"One thing I've always had for me is I've worked hard, and it's no different in the offseason.
