OTTAWA – The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) announced today that former Senators captain Laurie Boschman has been named the new president of the Ottawa Senators Alumni. Boschman was the franchise’s first team captain, recording nine goals and 16 points in 70 games during Ottawa’s inaugural 1992-93 season.
“Ottawa has meant so much to me over my life as both a National Hockey League player and former player,” said Boschman. “It is incredibly rewarding to have the opportunity to give back to this community and I want to thank both outgoing president Brad Marsh for all the hard work he put in to growing this team and the Sens alumni for providing me with the opportunity to lead this group moving forward.
