The playoffs are almost here, and for the Ottawa Senators they can’t come soon enough.
Yes, they’ve won two straight over two playoff teams (St. Louis and Toronto) but when you’re the worst team in the league with less than a month to go in the season, the impact of wins is lessened. It would be better to get this offseason over with, like ripping a wax strip off of your leg.
With how the Senators have performed on the ice and in the front office, it’s going to be very difficult to entice free agents to come to Ottawa.
