Mark Kastelic Signed to Entry-Level Contract

The Ottawa Senators have made their first off-season (?) move, signing forward prospect Mark Kastelic to a three-year entry-level contract.

Kastelic, a 21-year-old centre from Phoenix and son of former NHLer Ed Kastelic, was a fifth round pick from the Sens in 2019 draft after being passed over the two years prior. Captaining the Calgary Hitmen, Mark has served as a menacing physical presence as well as being their top goal scorer for the last two seasons. Over five seasons, he’s risen to score the third most goals in franchise history for the Hitmen with 126.
