Macarthur, Phaneuf won’t forget past bruins series

Clarke MacArthur has a vivid recollection of the last time he faced the Boston Bruins in the playoffs - despite the attempts to have it wiped from his mind.

“I’m still doing heavy psychiatric work for that in the summers,” the Senators winger joked Wednesday morning. . “That, you don’t wish upon anybody.”

Both MacArthur and Dion Phaneuf were Maple Leafs during the Great Collapse of 2013, when Toronto led Boston 4-1 nine minutes into the third period of Game 7 but then folded to lose the first round series on Patrice Bergeron’s overtime goal.

“‘I just remember that flight home … I’ve never (been on) a flight where there’s not a word said.
