Everything Old is New Again: Kurt Kleinendorst is the New Binghamton Senators Head Coach

The Ottawa Senators have announced their new head coach in the AHL, and it's a familiar face: Kurt Kleinendorst.

Kleinendorst was behind the bench for the 2011 Calder Cup run (conveniently available to be re-lived thanks to our own Jeff Ulmer's three part series), but departed after the 2011-12 season to pursue career opportunities outside of the organization.

Since leaving Binghamton, he spent a year as the head coach for University of Alabama in Huntsville, a season and a bit as the head coach of the Iowa Wild (Minnesota's AHL affiliate), and last season as the head coach of ERC Ingolstadtin in Germany's Deutsche Eishockey Liga.
