At long last, a little bit of Ottawa Senators news.
- Here’s your first sign that the offseason is coming to an end: the Sens development camp starts this Saturday, September 11th. The team released its roster yesterday. Notable absences are NCAA players Jake Sanderson, Tyler Kleven and Tyler Boucher, who won’t be able to attend because of NCAA rules. The NCAA does not allow players to miss school for development camp, so this is less because of COVID rules and more because COVID forced the team to hold their development camp a little later than usual, meaning that it interferes with school this year.
