At the 1998 NHL Draft, the Ottawa Senators selected forward Mike Fisher with the 44th overall pick in the draft. Fisher turned into a quick developer with making his NHL debut in the 1999-00 season.
Fisher spent the next decade being part of the Senators roster. With Fisher on the roster, the Senators were a consistent playoff team.
During the 2010-11 season, Fisher's tenure in Ottawa ended when he was traded to the Nashville Predators. Although he was traded away, Fisher's impact on the Senators was strong enough that he could deserve recognition from the Senators.
