Last night at home, the Ottawa Senators began their second back-to-back of 2025-26 with a dominating 7-2 win against the Boston Bruins. It was then time to head to the Windy City for a clash against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Last season, the Senators and Blackhawks earned an overtime win against each other. Against a team in a surprising playoff spot early into the season, Connor Bedard showed the Senators why he was the first overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft.
The Blackhawks defeated the Senators 7-3 at United Center. With the loss, the Senators fell to 5-5-1 overall on the season, and had their three-game winning streak snapped.
