The Ottawa Senators' first-round pick (21st-overall) in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, Colin White, has been put on Team USA's preliminary roster for the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championships. White is off to a great first season with Boston College, having scored 23 points in 15 games, and this invitation is a validation of his impressive start. He also was a member of the 2015 IIHF U-18 gold medal-winning American squad.
Ottawa's other 2015 first-round pick, Thomas Chabot, was invited to Team Canada's World Junior camp last week.
