Bingo set to take on Carleton Ravens

The Binghamton Senators will get their first test Monday night before they leave town.

While many players who will suit up for the club's AHL affiliate this season have gotten a chance to strut their stuff during NHL pre-season games, a lot those who are headed for Binghamton to open camp Tuesday will play one final game in Ottawa.

For the first time in club history, Binghamton will face the Carleton Ravens and coach Luke Richardson is looking forward to what should be a good test against a well-respected university program led by coach Marty Johnston.

"You're never sure when you're comparing different levels, but I think the age of most of the players on their team and most of the players on our team are probably going to be very comparable," said Richardson Saturday night.
