SUNRISE, FLA. — - The sun was shining on the Ottawa Senators as they returned to the ice at the BB&T Center on Monday night.

Fresh from the all-star break, the Senators are in a more comfortable playoff position than few could have imagined, given the setbacks that have included missing Clarke MacArthur for the entire season and Craig Anderson for all but 19 games.

The Senators have a record of 26-15-6, their 58 points allowing them to sit comfortably in second spot in the Atlantic Division after 47 games.

Division-leading Montreal is also within reach.
